Desiccant bags

Excessive moisture and humidity inside of electronic packaging could cause corrosion and rust of electronic components, resulting in soldering operation failures. Desiccant bags and silica gel prevent condensation by absorbing and holding the moisture, and regulates ambient humidity.

A variety of desiccants are available, such as clay or gel; micro-bags or standard; depending on the industry and application. In order to reach an optimal low relative humidity (RH) desiccant bags have to be included in Dryshield Bags.

In order to reach an optimal low relative humidity (RH) desiccant bags have to be included in the Dryshield Bags. According to EIA 583 dry shielding bags are incomplete without desiccant bags.
