Desiccant bags are packets filled with material that prevent condensation by absorbing and holding moisture. Desiccant bags can be used across a variety of applications including industrial equipment, medical diagnostic equipment, optical and electronics.

Excessive moisture and humidity inside of electronic packaging could cause corrosion and rust of electronic components, resulting in soldering operation failures.

A variety of desiccants are available, such clay, micro-bags or standard. In order to reach an optimal low relative humidity (RH) desiccant bags have to be included in Dryshield Bags.

In order to reach an optimal low relative humidity (RH) desiccant bags have to be included in the Dryshield Bags. According to EIA 583 dry shielding bags are incomplete without desiccant bags.
