The FLUXUS G721 is a technological breakthrough in the ultrasonic clamp-on volume and mass flow measurement of gases.

Highly sophisticated signal filters, fast processing capacities and advanced measurement algorithms make the FLUXUS G721 gas flow meter the standard setting measuring solution for any industrial application – even in hazardous environments.

This flowmeter automatically adapts to measurement conditions and compensates for flow profile disturbances, such as beam dispersal and structure-borne noise. This enables even more precise and reliable measurements; including real-time monitoring of highly dynamic processes.

Benefits of FLUXUS® G721:

  • No process interruption required for installation.
  • Certified for operation within hazardous areas (ATEX / IECEx and FMc Class I, Div. 2).
  • Fast measuring dynamics (output of measurement data every 10ms), capturing pulsating flows.
  • Pre-calibrated and certified transducers and transmitters.
  • Reliable measurements of wet gas (up to LVF of 5%).
  • Accurate and repeatable measurement readings – even at extremely low flow rates (high turndown ratio), independent of pipe material, wall thickness and internal pressure.
  • Matched transducers, integrated temperature compensation (according to ANSI/ASME MFC-5.1-2011 regulations).
  • Permanent coupling with unique couplant pads, FlexSpring secured mounting fixtures guarantee durable contact pressure also on heavily vibrating pipes.
  • Bidirectional communication as well as remote parameterisation and diagnostic capabilities.

Permanent Flowmeters for Gases

FLUXUS® permanent, clamp-on ultrasonic systems allow for the flow measurement of almost all liquid and gaseous media – even those with increased inputs of solids and gas (<10%) or even wet gas (LVF <5%). FLUXUS® reliably measures on very small tubes (e.g. DN 6 tubes in paint finishing systems) and very large pipes (e.g. DN 6500 downpipes in hydropower plants). The practical advantages include:
  • No wear and tear by the medium flowing inside the pipe
  • No risk of liquid leakage or fugitive gas emissions
  • No pressure loss
  • Unlimited plant availability
